Darkride Records is a new record label founded in 2019 by Sean Brennan of London After Midnight.
Sean Brennan says "I started Darkride Records to release primarily London After Midnight music. All of my contracts with former labels had expired and I didn't want to renew them, but the physical albums were out of print. Rather than re-release the same audio tracks, which were not produced or mixed well due to financial constraints at the time of production, I decided to totally remix the songs as if they were being mixed for the first time. In the process I was able to restore never-before-heard audio, include unreleased songs, and improve the sound quality dramatically. All the albums that were out of print and now released by Darkride have been completely remixed from the original multi-track master tapes. So the Darkride release of LAM's first 1991 album, "Selected Scenes from the End of the World: 9119" (deluxe edition, released in 2019), and "Oddities Too" (2022, new songs along with the entire 1998 'Oddities" album) sound incredible and are far superior to the original releases."
"All the Darkride releases are deluxe editions of the albums. They offer more content, better artwork, and massively improved sound quality, on multiple formats (digital, CD and vinyl). In the future I may release other artists, we'll see."
